Tzu Chi Indonesia is providing assisstance in handling Covid-19 in Jakarta. Tzu Chi volunteers on Thursday, 19 March 2020 delivered aid to RSPAD Gatot Soebroto, RSUP Persahabatan, and Jakarta Health Agency.

The world and Tzu Chi volunteers are working to fight coronavirus pandemic. Volunteers are providing medical assistance in 3 COvid-19 referral hospitals in Jakarta.

533 people affected by earthquake and liquefaction in Palu are finally at ease. They have signed the Letter of Agreement for Tzu Chi Love Housing Residents Phase 1 (11-12 January 2020). Karmel Dawati was one of them. "I feel happy, yet sad every time I think of my husband," she said.

On October 29, 2019, President of Indonesia, Ir. H. Joko Widodo paid a visit to Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Tadulako housing in between his busy schedule on a business trip.  President Widodo appreciated the housing that Tzu Chi built for Palu’s quake victims in Sigi and Donggala, Central Sulawesi.

The Tzu Chi house rebuilding project in Kamal Muara village, North Jakarta has been going on for over three months and its currently under the finishing stage. 35 teachers and staff from Tzu Chi School with 34 volunteers from North He Qi 1 and 2 put their hearts and hands together to run 3 activities in one day on Sunday, October 27, 2019, from house painting to environment conservation.

After Palu, the verification process for residents of Cinta Kasih Tzu Chi Housing in Sigi regency, Central Sulawesi. The verification process was done on 28-29 September 2019 at the Sigi Development Planning Board (Bappeda) office, exactly one year after the Palu earthquake. There are 766 earthquake and liquefaction relief recipients to be verified.

There were 105,4 kilograms of waste collected by Tzu Chi Secondary students, which was shocking since the event was only went on for an hour. From the 105,4 kilograms of waste, there were 39 kilograms of recyclable waste, and 66,4 kilograms of non-recyclable waste.
